Martin Olbort is one of the two founders. Prior to co-founding PINOVA in 2007, Martin was managing shareholder of a leading German manufacturer of transport equipment. Before that, he worked at 3i in Germany and Switzerland for eight years with a focus on “Mittelstand” companies in the Industrial Technology sector.
Prior to 3i, Martin spent three years as a business analyst at Philip Morris Germany. Since 2006, he is a board member at Oryx Stainless AG, one of the world’s largest stainless steel scrap recyclers.
Martin studied Business Administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and holds a Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (Lic. oec. HSG).
