ESG principles

PINOVA has been a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) since 2019. We follow the six principles of responsible investment with conviction.

We incorporate ESG aspects (environmental, social and governance) into the analysis of potential investments and our decision-making processes.

As active owners, we integrate ESG aspects into our investment guidelines.

We require appropriate disclosure of ESG aspects from the companies in which we invest.

We advocate for the adoption and implementation of these principles within the investment industry.

We work together with all stakeholders to increase effectiveness in implementing the principles.

We report on our activities and progress in implementing the principles.

ESG integration in the investment process

At PINOVA, ESG is integrated into every phase of the investment cycle – from sourcing to divestment. Our Article 8 SFDR funds promote sustainability goals and help companies to improve their ESG profile and create long-term value.

Rigorous screening criteria ensure that we only invest in companies with high growth potential that meet our ESG standards. In the transaction phase, we carefully analyze risks and opportunities, assess climate risks and examine the impact of the business model on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ongoing tracking and transparent documentation

As part of PINOVA’s ESG process, we offer our portfolio companies practical recommendations for setting specific ESG targets. Together, we track and document target achievement using our ESG dashboard to make progress and future potential visible.
