Joern Pelzer is one of the two founders. Prior to co-founding PINOVA in 2007, Joern spent nine years with global private equity firm 3i in Germany and Silicon Valley. As a partner, he was responsible for technology investments, especially in Software.
Before joining 3i, Joern worked at the Fraunhofer Institute, where he focused on production technology. Furthermore, he has an entrepreneurial family background.
Joern holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin (Diplom-Ingenieur) and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE).
