Dr. Harald Balzer is Sector Advisor at PINOVA and supports the PINOVA team in production and process optimization. In addition to his work at PINOVA, he holds several supervisory and advisory board mandates, focusing on the operational and structural alignment of medium-sized companies.
Since 1997, Dr. Balzer has been with CONCEPT AG – The productivity people in Stuttgart, which he founded and led as CEO for over 25 years. At the end of 2024, he joined the company’s Supervisory Board. Dr. Balzer successfully built up CONCEPT AG, a management consultancy specializing in medium-sized companies and operational excellence. The consultancy focuses on the automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace, electrical and electronics sectors.
Previously, he held various leadership positions, including at Krehl & Partner and the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart. Dr. Balzer studied mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart (TU) and earned his doctorate through the Fraunhofer Institute.
