Analyst
This position is aimed at ambitious young professionals who want to launch their career in private equity from day one.
Responsibilities
Analysts are part of the investment team and provide support along the entire investment value chain.
- Deal sourcing: assisting partners in managing key relationships with intermediaries, topic-related deal flow generation
- Deal structuring: preparing financing models, assisting with transaction financing
- Due diligence: Coordinating external due diligence providers, conducting reference calls with clients, analysts and industry experts
- Portfolio management: preparing board and advisory board meetings, implementing reporting tools, analysing reporting results and supporting specific portfolio projects (e.g. buy-and-build)
Requirements
- Successfully completed Master's degree in engineering, natural sciences or business administration at a renowned university or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience through relevant internships or initial work experience in areas such as corporate strategy/development, consulting, auditing or investment banking
- Strong numerical skills and experience in dealing with financial data
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication & presentation skills in German and English
- Technical interest and the ability to understand complex interrelationships
- Entrepreneurial thinking and pragmatic solutions
- A real team player with strong social skills, empathy and a healthy curiosity
